Realtime Solutions have worked with a number of key Universities in the United Arab Emerites in the development and validation of their space plans. These have included the United Arab Emerites University, Abu dhabi University and Zayed University.
In addition, a number of projects are currently ongoing relating to International Universities and Colleges building campuses in the UAE. Although initially engaged by those providing funding for new space, Realtime Solutions key service mission is continued involvement with Institutions after the initial planning stage as space management issues begin to materialise. Indeed, this approach has been successful with regard to existing clients mentioned above.
The Company have been engaged at various points in the architectural design process to ensure that the schedule of activities e.g. course structure and pedagogic principles equate to the proposed space which is being built. In many cases, members of the Realtime team have attended regular meetings throughout the lifecycle of the projects.
The verification of the agreed space plan has played a major role in all cases, particularly as there exist many constraints peculiar to the country / region e.g. those related to the joint learning of males and females. This has involved the detailed construction of a timetable model which has been used as a 'blueprint' for how timetabling should be implemented in the newly built spaces.
