Research
Realtime Solutions is a 'spin out' company from the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Barry McCollum and Paul McMullan are currently based within the school and as such have direct contact with leading researchers and practitioners in the area of space management and planning.
Realtime Solutions provide a practical solution which is firmly based on underlying research principles. Over the past four years, the company has provided over 300K of funding to Queen's University Belfast and the University of Nottingham with the aim of understanding how research based optimisation techniques can be integrated with high quality deliverable space solutions. Direct evidence of this intensive research is visible through Realtime Solutions current product offering.
