Dr Barry McCollum

In his role as Managing Director of Realtime Solutions is responsible for the coordination of software sales and implementation within the UK Market. A close working relationship is maintained with Mr Terry Roche to ensure synchronisation of efforts in both the UK and Australian markets. He was involved for 7 years with the implementation of University examination and lecturing Timetabling at both the Queen's University and the University of Nottingham. This involved dealing with the human as well as technical factors of software with the aim of providing as workable and flexible a system as possible. Throughout this Barry has maintained his interest in scheduling and planning algorithms with application to real world scenarios. He is co-author of over 50 publications and has given a number of key note and plenary conference presentations.

Dr Paul McMullan

Paul is responsible for the software development of SpaceMAP, in terms of Technical and Team management. He worked in industry for a UK based Resource Management company before moving to Management Information Systems in Queen's University. He has been involved in Software Development throughout his career, and the more recent experience in the area of Space Management has led directly to the production of an IT solution to tackle the inherent problems. He was involved in the initial development and growth of the SpaceMAP product, and is in charge of coordinating the technical development of the project. This includes support, on-going maintenance and use of the product.

Terry Roche

Terry has responsibility for the strategic development of the software. He has a significant role in the preparation of reports for clients based on the outputs from SpaceMAP in both Australia and the UK. Working closely with Dr McCollum he also ensures cohesion between the Australian and the UK offices. His background has been working with Universities in both Australia and the UK where he managed the strategic and operational issues associated with space use, including computerised timetabling, utilisation surveys, space allocations and the development of strategic tools for supporting the implementation of the Universities Strategic Plans. He has significant experience in the field of capital planning and budgeting. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration.
