Approach

The Realtime Approach involves a number of distinct components and depends very much on the project involved. On contacting Realtime, staff will undertake an initial analysis and detail what the tailored approach would be in meeting the overall objectives.

Listening Learning Leading

Although we provide software, this is but one component of the value added approach taken by Realtime solutions. Additionally, this includes:

Understanding of the institutional space needs and objectives.

Building Scenarios bases on Institutional knowledge and objectives.

Building relationships with clients, putting them in control of their space, be it existing or new.

Empowering the client to make decisions concerning their institution.

Leading Clients in satisfying the demand for space within the institution.

Developing tailored solutions with targeted use of automated software.

Advise on international best practice and the relevance to particular cases.

Overall, We take a 'systems' approach to management of space, in which people who use institutional space are intrinsically involved with the say of how it should be used.

Decisions regarding work times, scheduling, type of space required are made by staff in a cooperative environment, as opposed to being dictated by senior management hiding behind complex computer systems.  In this way space usage is dictated by customer demand; both staff and students.

Analysing, Investigating, Reporting

The Realtime approach provides information on the space needed to be able to run a set of courses. Quality is measured in terms of 'flexibility measurements'.  What these should be can be established through interaction with the staff at all levels.  This value provides flexibility and can be measured in terms of staff and students as well as utilisation of space.
